Terms of Service
Effective date: October 2, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Leap AI (“Leap,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the related website, apps, APIs and MCP server (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
Leap is a studio and an API for AI image and video models. You can run a model with your own prompt, or use a preset that runs one or more models for a set outcome, such as a product photo or a portrait. You can use Leap in the studio, from your own software through the API, or from an AI assistant through our MCP server.
The models are run by third parties, such as Google, OpenAI, ByteDance and Black Forest Labs, reached through Vercel AI Gateway. The Privacy Policy lists them. We may add, change or remove models and presets at any time, and a model provider may refuse a request under its own rules.
Results are made by AI. They can contain mistakes, look different from what you expected, or change details of a photo you upload. Check every result before you use it.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By signing up you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are using the account for yourself (one person per account; do not share credentials).
You sign in with Google or with a link we email you. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure. Notify us immediately at support@mail.tryleap.ai if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Your work, your credit and your API keys belong to a workspace. When you sign up, we create one for you, and you are its owner. You can invite other people to it. The owner and the admins of a workspace decide who belongs to it and what they can do, and they are responsible for what its members do in it.
4. Acceptable Use
The Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may not do with Leap. In short: do not use Leap for anything illegal; do not upload photos of people who have not agreed; never make sexual content of a real person or anyone under 18; do not impersonate anyone or make deceptive fakes of real people; and do not try to get around our limits or a model’s safety rules.
5. Credits, Prices and Payment
Leap is prepaid. Each workspace has a balance of credits in US dollars, which pays for everything run in it, in the studio, through the API and through the MCP server. There is no subscription and no “unlimited” plan.
- Prices. Each model and preset has a price per run, which can depend on what you ask for, such as the size or length of the result. The studio shows the price before you start a run, and the API and MCP server can quote it. You pay the price shown.
- Failed runs are not charged. We set aside the price when a run starts and charge it only when the run succeeds. If a run fails, times out, is canceled or is refused by the model provider, it costs nothing.
- Top-ups. You add credit with a one-time payment. Each top-up has a processing fee, shown before you pay, which is not added to your balance. You can turn on automatic top-ups, which charge your saved card when your balance falls below an amount you choose, with the same fee.
- Welcome credit. We may give a new account a small free credit, once per person. Free credit can change or end at any time and is never refunded. If we see it abused, for example through many accounts, we may withhold or remove it.
- What credit is. Credit works only in Leap. It has no cash value and cannot be sold or transferred. Paid credit does not expire while Leap is offered, and if we stop offering Leap we will refund the unused part of the credit you paid for.
- Refunds. If you have not used any of a top-up, you can ask for a refund of it within 7 days of buying it. If a result is delivered but is clearly broken, for example blank, corrupted or not what the preset makes, email support@mail.tryleap.ai within 7 days and we will make it again or return its credit. We do not refund a working result only because you do not like how it looks, since AI results vary. Refunds go back to the payment method you used.
- Disputes. If a payment is disputed or reversed, we may remove the credit it bought and pause the workspace until the dispute is settled.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying you also agree to Stripe’s terms for payment processing. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
6. Your Content and Results
You keep whatever rights you have in the prompts, photos and other files you give us (“Your Content”). As between you and Leap, you own the results the Service makes for you, to the extent the law allows. In some countries AI-made content may not be protected by copyright, so we cannot promise that a result is unique or that others cannot make something similar. The people and things shown in a result may still have rights in it.
You grant Leap a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, copy, process and send Your Content and your results only as needed to run the Service for you: to send them to the model providers, deliver the results to you, and keep them so you can see your history. The license ends when they are deleted, except for copies the law requires us to keep.
We do not use Your Content or your results to train AI models, and we do not use them in our marketing or examples without asking you first. See the Privacy Policy for how we store them and how to have them deleted.
Results may carry labels or metadata that mark them as made with AI. Do not remove or hide these to present a result as a real, unedited photo or video. When you share a result, follow the rules of the place you share it, including any rule to label AI content. You are responsible for how you use your results.
7. The API and the MCP Server
- API keys belong to a workspace. Keep them secret. Everything run with a workspace’s key is charged to that workspace, and its owner and admins can see, limit and revoke its keys.
- When you connect an AI assistant or another app through our MCP server, you choose what it may do. It then acts for you in your workspaces, and what it runs is charged as if you ran it.
- You may build your own product on the API. Your users must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, and you are responsible for what they do with it.
- We limit how often the API can be called, and we may change those limits to keep the Service available.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including the Leap AI brand, logo, design, code, prompts, presets and underlying systems, is owned by Leap AI and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, copyrights, or patents beyond the right to use the Service as intended.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant that results will be accurate or fit for any purpose, that a model or preset will stay available, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. AI models are an imperfect, evolving technology, and their results vary.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leap AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, or damage to reputation, arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
11. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for Your Content and for how you use results. If someone makes a claim against Leap because of your content or your use of a result, for example because you uploaded someone’s photo without their permission, you agree to cover Leap’s reasonable costs of that claim, where the law allows.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by emailing support@mail.tryleap.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or create legal risk for us or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising under or related to these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or with a notice in the app before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update means you accept the updated Terms.
We may also ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in.
